Allegheny County 2012 Countywide Reassessment |

Allegheny County recently completed a County-wide reassessment, the first since 2002. The deadline by which formal appeals were to be filed was April 2, 2012. Gothie Van Allen filed several hundred appeals on behalf of various taxpayers and will represent those taxpayers at appeal hearings before the Board of Property Assessment Appeals and Review in the coming months. Harrisburg Office Relocates Due to Continued Growth |

Due to Gothie Van Allen’s continued growth, the firm recently relocated and upgraded its Harrisburg office from 300 North Second Street to 2 North Second Street. GVA’s new office space occupies the twelfth floor of the Penn National Insurance building, which is adjacent to the Dauphin County Courthouse and a few steps from the Board of Appeals, Attorney General’s office, and the Commonwealth Court.
